Happy Monday Happy Mom!
How did you do with the 3 goals you focused on last week? If you need an accountability buddy, hop on to the Happy Moms Facebook page and let us know. I'm sure you're not alone. As for me, I did pretty well on sticking to a budget, not so good on cutting out carbs and sugar, and great with enforcing no tv on school days.
This week I will try again with no carbs or sugar. I'll eat what I can from my dinner menu and substitute the carbs and sugar with veggies and fruit. I'm also going to focus on getting 8 hours of sleep each night. I think this is so beneficial because when I get a good night's rest, I wake up on time and refreshed for my Bootcamp class and start my day with all those endorphins. I'm a happier mom when I start my day at the gym. The third goal I will focus on this week is keeping in touch with family members, specifically my cousin and mother-in-law.
I'm also feeling the spring cleaning buzz and was browsing through the book, "the life-changing magic of tidying up." This is one of my favorite books and it's been in my library for five years now. I'm going to de-clutter my desk and boys' closet this evening.
I did squeeze in a pedicure last week. Got my toenails painted green in preparation for Kamehameha Song Contest and the class of 2020 winning. Please share what you chose to do for YOU on the Happy Moms Facebook page.
I hope you all have the best week ever. Put priority on yourself. Make time! Get Happy! You are worth it!!!

What's happening in my home?
The kids are in the last week of 3rd quarter for school which means tests, projects, and stress! I'm happy to report I didn't eat any thin mints last week. My princess on her own made a motivational poster and taped it up on her bedroom wall. I'm learning every day from my children.
