Happy Monday Happy Mom!
February is gone! Have you been rocking your 2019 goals? Any fabulous changes you want to share with the group? Or do you need a kick in the butt to get back on the path? Whatever the case may be, the great news is itʻs a brand new month! A brand new week! A brand new day!
So much has happened in the past few months for me and the most important lesson learned has been UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Iʻm just so in awe at the life lessons I have gained from my family members who have passed on. Each of them have led by example and showed me unconditional love. Even my mom, who Iʻm blessed to still have with me, has instilled in my children unconditional love. Having the opportunity to care for my disabled mom is the greatest blessing for my children and myself. My children are learning life experiences that will carry them throughout their lives. Heck, I am learning so much too. Every single day I learn from my husband, my children, my mom, my friends, my students, etc.
I miss my dad so much and some days the flood of tears take over at unexpected times. But then I think of how blessed I was to even have him in my life. How blessed I am to have memories of my kids with grandpa. How blessed my husband was to have a "buddy" as a father-in-law.
So what does this all have to do with goals? Well, I believe that if every goal I have and work towards can align me with giving and receiving unconditional love, then I will be fulfilled. I will be a Happy Mom. I have professional goals, parenting goals, health goals, relationship goals, and spiritual goals. I want to accept people for who they are and help them be who they want to be. I want to be happy with myself, yet strive for continuous growth. I want to encourage everyone in my reach to love yourself. Take care of yourself. Appreciate yourself. Appreciate all your experiences. Be the best version of yourself possible so that you can give unconditional love.
Please share what you chose to do for YOU on the Happy Moms Facebook page. I hope you all have the best week ever. Put a priority on yourself. Make time! Get Happy! You are worth it!!!
